WIEBKE VON CAROLSFELD

Doug Taylor is a screenwriter and producer from Montreal, known for his work on genre films such as Splice (2009), They Wait (2007), A Christmas Horror Story (2015), Blood Honey (2017) and Multiverse (2019) as well as television series such as Darknet (2014) and the video game We Happy Few (2018). His screenplay for the film A Christmas Horror Story (winner in 2016) and his work on the series Darknet earned him two nominations from the Writers Guild of Canada. 

With a Bachelor's degree in film and a Master's degree in visual and media arts from UQAM, Léna Mill-Reuillard’s work includes photography and videography, which have been exhibited in several galleries and artist-run centres across the country, as well as over thirty credits as a cinematographer for various short and feature films. Her most recent is Chloé Cinq-Mars’ Nesting (2025) starring Rose-Marie Perreault. Several films on which she collaborated have travelled to many festivals around the world and won several awards (La coupe and Une Colonie by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles (Best International Short – Sundance 2014 / Crystal Bear – Berlin 2019 and Best Feature Film – FCVQ and FICFA 2018), Mes nuits seront écho by Sophie Goyette (Bright Future Award – IFFR 2017); Pré- Drink by Marc-Antoine Lemire (Best Short Film – TIFF 2017 and IRIS 2018). 

Based in Montreal, Marie-Pier Dupuis is an editor, director and screenwriter. She has twenty editing credits to her name and is known for her work on Sophie Dupuis’ Solo (2023), which won Best Canadian Film at Toronto International Film Festival, and Après-coups by Romane Garant, for which she won Best editing - documentary short film at CCE Awards. In 2023, she directed her first short film, L’été des chaleurs (2023), which was selected as one of the five short films at Telluride Film Festival. She is currently working on the editing of a feature-length documentary, Spare my bones, Coyote by Jonah Malak. 

Based in Quebec, Peter Venne is a film composer who has worked on over fifty feature and short films and television projects. His most recent work includes Au revoir Pluton (2026), Follies (2025), Hunting Daze (2024), Who Do I Belong To (2024) by Meryam Joobeur and The Twentieth Century (2019) by Matthew Rankin. He has won the Best Original Music Award for his work on A Sister’s Song at the DocAviv Film Festival in 2018, was nominated at FilmQuest for Best Sound - short for Plainsong (2021) and at the Gala Quebec Cinema for Best Original Music for his work Before We Explode (2019) and for The Twentieth Century (2020). 

Executive Producer of the 2014 Academy Award-winning short documentary The Lady in Number 6, Frederic Bohbot founded Bunbury Films in 2002 only to make one film, Once a Nazi..., released in 2006 to much critical success. Since then, Frederic has produced over 25 one-off documentaries covering history, art, sports, environment, religion, and spirituality for audiences throughout the world. Bohbot’s first feature fiction entitled Boost (2016) received five Canadian Screen Award nominations, winning the Best Actor award, and eight Quebec Cinema Award nominations (a record for an English-language film in Quebec). In 2023, Frederic completed the French-language feature fiction L’Ouragan F.Y.T. featuring an A-list cast. He is currently in post-production on the feature docs Pouvoir Oublier and Rebirth while developing a number of new projects. 

Kacim has distinguished himself as one of the few McGill University physics graduates turned producer and director. With a diverse portfolio spanning fiction and documentary, Kacim’s creative journey includes producing the chilling horror film Alice in the Attic in 2017, and the emotionally resonant Quand l’amour se creuse un trou (When Love Digs a Hole) in 2018. In 2017, Kacim also showcased his storytelling skills with his directorial debut documentary I Think You’ve Been Looking For Me for CBC. In 2023/24, Kacim produced the critically acclaimed French language feature fiction L’Ouragan F.Y.T. and finished his next documentary What We Inherit, slated for release in 2026. 

Barbara Rosenstein began her career in corporate communications and design, eventually becoming the Managing Partner of an award-winning design studio. She has extensive experience in digital and print production techniques, branding, marketing, and web design. She subsequently went on to work with the visual effects company, The Workshop, producing projects for clients like, NBA, Sprite, Samsung, McDonald’s, Hermes. As the CSA-winning VFX producer for the critically acclaimed film, Blood Quantum, Barbara turned her sights on film production. It didn’t take long for her to become a highly sought after post-production supervisor of both film and television. Her natural ability to work with the various people and departments in getting a project through post to delivery on time and on budget has made her an invaluable asset to any production. She joined Prospector Films in 2020 and plays a vital role in the growth and success of the company. 

Valerie Shamash has worked on hundreds of Canadian documentary films. She has been a part of documentary production since 2001, when she spent 7 years as part of Productions Multi-Monde’s production team. She began Line Producing at Bunbury Films in 2008 and since 2013 when she joined the EyeSteelFilm team she shares her time overseeing documentary (and some fiction) productions with both Bunbury Films and EyeSteelFilm. Valerie has a Master's Degree in anthropology and is particularly interested in relaying the importance of appreciating cross-cultural differences. 

Rob Vroom received an MFA from the American Film Institute and has over 25 years of experience working in the film and tv industry. In 2012, he started Vroom Productions to focus on independent film. After producing Three Night Stand (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Megan Rath, Sam Huntington) and Another Kind of Wedding (Kathleen Turner, Wallace Shawn & Jessica Paré), Rob joined Prospector Films to produce the critically acclaimed indigenous zombie film, Blood Quantum, directed by the late visionary, Jeff Barnaby. His latest feature, You Can Live Forever (Anwen O’Driscoll, June Laporte) had its theatrical release in 2022 and received a 90% certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Rob strives to collaborate with innovative, distinct and creative storytellers. His films have been well received by critics and the public alike and have been official selections at top tier festivals including TIFF, Tribeca, SITGES, Busan, Slamdance, Whistler, Beijing, among others. Worldwide distribution includes Netflix, Shudder, Sony Pictures, Elevation Pictures, Myriad Pictures, eOne Entertainment, Vertical Entertainment, XYZ Films.
